Gives you the chance meet the doctor with no charge and no obligation. The purpose of the consultation is to answer any questions you may have about naturopathic medicine and for you to learn about how we may be able to help you. No medical advice can be given during this consultation.

New Patient Initial Intake

Includes comprehensive consultation time with your naturopathic doctor, a complete review of systems and the following physical exams: respiratory, cardiac, head, ears, nose, eyes, throat, neurological, abdominal and others as your case requires. New patients should bring in initial paperwork and any recent lab results 24 hours in advance of their initial intake for the doctor to review prior to the consultation. If you do not have recent lab work, your doctor will order testing as needed to aid in diagnosis oftentimes prior to initial intake. By the end of the initial consultation the doctor and new patient will agree to a treatment plan to reach the patient´s health goals within their budget constraints. For complex cases where further research or outside consultation is required a treatment plan may not be implemented until the first follow-up. The treatment plan can include lifestyle changes, diet modification, vitamins, supplements, botanical medicine, office procedures, prescriptions, further lab work, homeopathy, exercise recommendations and referrals to specialists. Initial intakes are typically 60 to 120 minutes. Length of time will be determined by your health needs..

Ongoing Follow-up

Allows your doctor optimal time to review your progress and discuss any necessary adjustments in your treatment plan. Allows you time to ask questions and propose changes to your agreed treatment plan. Typical follow ups last from 15 to 60 minutes depending on your needs.

Smoking Cessation

This patient specific treatment option is used with patients who have a desire to quit smoking. Using a specific combination of herbs and nutritional support, combined with counseling and meditation the doctors help you quit smoking for real this time. We will also coordinate care with our acupuncturist for those with stubborn addictions.

Facial Rejuvenation Injections

A natural approach- vitamins are injected into the skin to help bring back its youthful nature. Natural hyaluronic acid injections can also be used to fill and smooth wrinkles and folds

Orthopedic Mesotherapy

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is a natural injection of a specific solution into the loosened ligament or tendon, which causes a localized inflammation in the region, brings an increase in blood supply and flow of nutrients to the tissue to repair itself. Prolotherapy works well for weak ACL and shoulder ligaments due to impact or over-use injuries as well as repeat dislocations.

BIA (Bioimpedance Analysis)

Bio-Impedance Analysis (BIA) is a reliable method of measuring body composition, including percentage of body fat and lean body mass, basal metabolic rate, caloric needs, hydration, and many other factors. Measurements are taken with a bioimpedance analyzer, which uses electrodes similar to EKG electrodes. The machine passes a harmless, ultra-low level electrical current through the body. Lean tissue, which is over 70% water, is a good conductor of electrical current. Fatty tissue--low in water, is not. Thus, the resistance to the flow of electrical current measured by the analyzer can be used to calculate body composition. Based on this information, our doctors are able to determine the best combination of diet and exercise to fit your lifestyle and weight loss needs. Our doctors have extensive knowledge of medical nutrition and our nutrition and exercise protocols will launch you into your new life with the tools you need to grow old gracefully!

Scar Therapy

Scars are the results of trauma or damage to the skin and the collagen fibers. Collagen fibers can be broken down and replaced with healthy connective tissue over time. The scar therapy helps to speed up the break down and repair of the collagen, thus reducing the appearance of the scar.

Guided Meditation Individual Session

During the guided meditation session, you will be taken on a journey of deep relaxation and restoration, along with been taught how to access your own sanctum of peace as you need it.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a technique that uses the hypnotic state, which enables changes in perception and memory. Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance. The person´s attention is so focused while in this state that anything going on around the person is temporarily blocked out or ignored. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus his or her attention with the help of a trained therapist on specific thoughts or tasks. Indications for hypnotherapy include, but are not limited to weight loss, smoking cessation, confidence building, and increased healing.

Color Therapy

Color therapy is the therapeutic use of light at different points on the body. Different colors of light exhibit the unique ability to enhance physical healing, while also affecting the psychological and spiritual healing. This treatment is non-invasive and pain free and allows the individual a greater understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.

Homeopathic HC3 Weight Loss Protocol

Intramuscular Injections

The injection of a substance directly into a muscle, often given in the deltoid or gluteal muscles. B12 shots are given via IM, because it allows for a more gradual absorption of the vitamin into the body. The doctors at RNMS are able to put together a specific IM shot for your medical needs, including Lipo B-12, known to help dissolve fat.

Homeopathic Immune Booster Shots

This IM shot is meant to be used in place of the flu shot or other vaccinations. While we recognize that some populations absolutely must utilize flu vaccines this shot gives an option for people who do not need to immunize but still want to give their immune systems an extra edge. Homeopathic alternatives to childhood vaccinations also available orally.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

As the first practical application of tissue engineering, this concentrated source of autologous platelets, contains and releases (through degranulation) at least seven different growth factors (cytokines) that stimulate bone and soft tissue healing. This popular clinical tool is being used for several types of medical treatments, including wound healing in surgery, tendonitis, cardiac care, cartilage regeneration, disc regeneration, dental health, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and sports medicine. This process has an advantage of directly stimulating or initiating the healing pathways at a greatly accelerated rate. As a result, the more growth factors and viable autologous cells that are released into the area, the more new tissue is produced, promoting faster healing.

Blood Tests / Comprehensive Blood Analysis

Naturopathic doctors will run and evaluate routine blood work, along with some more specific tests. At RNMS our routine blood work includes but is not limited to complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic profile, lipids, Vitamin D (25 hydroxy), TSH, free T3 and free T4, along with ferritin levels. If you have already had blood work done, that is great, please bring in a copy for the doctors to evaluate.

Allergy Testing

Identifies reactions to foods, chemicals and other substances associated with inflammation that are linked to chronic health problems like migraines, aching joints, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, eczema, hyperactivity/ADD, asthma and even obesity.

Hormone Profiles and Adrenal Stress Testing

Saliva or urine hormone testing for premenopausal, perimenopausal and postmenopausal women gives a complete look at hormone cycles throughout an entire month if necessary. Also available for men who are concerned about waning testosterone, cortisol, and thyroid hormones involved with aging. Adrenal testing gives a comprehensive assessment of adrenal function throughout a day.

Urine Toxic Metals and Creatinine Clearance

Analysis of the levels of toxic metals in urine after the administration of a metal detoxification agent is an objective way to evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. Acute metal poisoning is rare. More common, however, is a chronic, low-level exposure to toxic metals that can result in significant retention in the body that can be associated with a vast array of adverse health effects. Creatinine clearance is designed to assess renal function. Toxic metals and xenobiotics (including some pharmaceutical agents) are nephrotoxic and can decrease efficiency of glomerular (kidney) filtration. Efficient glomerular filtration is critical during chelation therapy in which there is increased mobilization of toxic elements resulting in elevated demands on kidney clearance.

Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis

Evaluates digestion, absorption, bacterial balance, metabolism, yeast and immune status for individuals with irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, malabsorption, and other GI-related problems. Additionally, evaluation for parasites using microscopic examination and EIA testing is available.

Micronutrient Testing

A clinically effective diagnostic tool for the prevention and management of chronic disease conditions. There is overwhelming evidence confirming that nutrient deficiencies have been shown to suppress immune function contributing to chronic disease process including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, arthritis and Alzheimer's.

Lipoprotein Particle Profile

Up to 50 percent of those who have suffered heart attacks had ´normal´ cholesterol numbers. How can the large discrepancy between accurate diagnosis and standard cholesterol testing be prevented? By testing the LPP (Lipoprotein Particle Profile) particle numbers. LPP is an advanced cholesterol testing technology which accurately measures both the density and number of lipoprotein particles. Measuring the lipoprotein subgroups is the only way to evaluate new risk factors, which is crucial for an accurate assessment of cardiovascular risk — according to the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP).

Swedish Massage

Long gliding strokes, kneading and friction along the length of the muscle promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and improve circulation. This massage is customized for light, medium or firm pressure preferences.

Deep Tissue Massage

Slower, deeper pressure is applied to problem areas of the muscle. Working into the sore muscle slowly relieves muscle pain. A more focused massage, perfect for those looking to release chronic muscle tension or knots.

Sports Massage

This modality is geared towards releasing tension surrounding an injury rather than relaxation. Trigger points and a variety of stretches are applied to sore, tight and overstressed muscles.

Hot Stone Massage

The heat and weight of hot stones enhance and deepen the massage experience. Practiced in ancient medicine for centuries, this technique is renowned for its healing and relaxing properties, while providing individuals with a unique way to indulge. Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils to enhance wellbeing. With doctor recommendations therapeutic essential oils will be blended specifically for each individual to stimulate the desired responses.

ALPHA-STIM®

Uses the electrical impulse of Alpha waves to treat anxiety, depression and insomnia. This therapeutic modality also treats acute, chronic, and postoperative pain and is designed as an alternative to TENS for localized treatment of pain. Constitutional Hydrotherapy

The therapy is a 1 hour long treatment, which involves a rhythmic application of hot and cold compresses while concurrently applying electrical stimulation to various anatomical regions.
