Dr. Michele Raithel, ND

Dr. Michele Raithel is the founder and CEO of Revolutions Natural Medical Solutions. She specializes in chronic disease, natural pain management and anti-aging medicine. This branch of medicine includes solutions for everyone interested in optimizing health and preventing disease.

Dr. Raithel received dual degrees from Lindenwood University in St. Louis Missouri including a BA of Biological Sciences and a BA in Theater with a minor in performing arts. While researching and applying to allopathic medical schools, Michele was also searching for ways to learn more about natural therapies. She was excited to find that there were accredited medical institutions that taught science based alternative medicine as part of the curriculum. As she read more about the philosophy and methods involved in Naturopathic Medicine her path became clear.

During her time at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Phoenix Arizona she learned that there were more proven natural alternatives to restoring health than she had ever imagined. Dr. Raithel has dedicated her education and life to learning methods of treatment that are proven to restore health and vitality (see Naturopathic Training). Revolutions medical group has made it a priority to create a business model that allows as much time as needed to treat a patient with the thorough medical care that they deserve.

A comment from Dr Raithel: "One year before my mother had a stroke she said to me that a doctor told her that her case was too complicated and he didn't have the time that he would need to help her. If I had known what I know now I truly believe that my mother would still be alive. No patient will ever be rushed out of my office. I will spend as much time with you as necessary to put together an effective treatment plan that you can live with. I will also manage referrals if needed to ensure you receive the best comprehensive care."

Michele believes that a balanced life is essential to a healthy mind and body. She has continued dancing throughout her adult life and was a member of the famous London dance studio "Pineapple". She enjoys exercising often using various styles from "gym rat" to yoga to hiking. Dr. Michele also goes to the theater as often as possible.

Dr. Michele is an active member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), the Folsom Chamber of Commerce and the Folsom Leading Young Professionals (FLYP). Emiko Okabe, L.Ac. & Dipl.O.M.

Emiko received her first BA in English Literature from Ferris University in Yokohama, Japan in 1985 and moved to the U.S. to continue her English education. She obtained her second BS in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Management Information Systems and International Business from California State University, Sacramento. After this she worked at Sanwa Bank in San Francisco for seven years before she met her current mentor, Dr. Masakazu Ikeda, when she decided to quit her banking career and move to the Oriental Medicine field.

In 2001, Emiko graduated from Meiji College of Oriental Medicine (currently Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College) in Berkeley, California with an MS in Oriental Medicine. After graduating she worked at Village Acupuncture Center for Optimum Health in Roseville, California, as an associate acupuncturist where she managed to see and treat up to 60 patients per day. The high volume of patients was precious experience for her as the patients´ medical conditions were so diverse. She gained valuable knowledge on how to identify and treat various medical conditions through reading the meridians of the body. Since 2000, Emiko has been studying directly under Dr. Masakazu Ikeda, an instructor & the President of the Academic Department of the Society of Traditional Japanese Medicine. He has taught Traditional Japanese Acupuncture in Japan, Australia and the United States, and has also published 23 books.

Emiko´s acupuncture style is called Traditional Japanese Medicine or Meridian Therapy where she reads each person´s energy by checking abdomen and pulses. She then decides which meridian (energy pathway) has problems and works on both root and branch issues. This style of acupuncture is considered the oldest style of acupuncture. Since the meridian therapy is the gentlest acupuncture technique available, she has been treating not only grownups but also young children and babies. In October 2009, Emiko joined Revolutions Natural Medical Solutions, where the doctors share her passion for the well-being of their patients.
